43101 - Inter-City 125 - 43301
43101 was withdrawn from Virgin Trains use in 2001 with collision damage and was put into long-term storage at Brush Traction, Loughborough.
It was included in the CrossCountry re-engineering programme, and after more than a year in the workshop was fitted with a new cab 43101 emerged in July 2008 as 43301.
A true credit to the engineering skills of Brush Traction.
